Programme "NATO-Ukraine retraining military personnel"

There were on the 13th of July 2016 the closing ceremony of training courses of the Programme "NATO-Ukraine retraining military personnel", which was carried out under the supervision of Professor Reshetilova T.B.  Ukraine's program of cooperation with NATO began in 2000. It is funded under the civil budget of the North-Atlantic Organization. The main objectives of the Programme is to increase the level of employment of former military personnel and facilitate their transition to civilian careers.


Center of Marketing Technology of the State Higher Educational Institution "National Mining University" takes part in the Programme since 2010 year. According to this Programme during these years 400 military personnel were retrained, including 100 participants ATO. All of them successfully defended their final works and received the certificate of state standard of professional development, which gives them a competitive advantage in employment and starting their own business.

The closing ceremony was attended by the director of the Office of Political Affairs and Security Policy NATO Headquarters Dr. Alberto Bin, Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Yurchenko V.O. and Chairman of the Federation of Dnipropetrovsk region Employers' Organizations Sergeev V.V. Participants of the project “NATO-Ukraine” were awarded certificates by First Vice-rector of NMU Azyukovsky A.A.


Director of the Office of Political Affairs and Security Policy NATO Headquarters Dr. Alberto Bin said that the program, which let military personnel quickly to civilian life, are an important component of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO in the non-military sphere.

With a congratulatory word to participants and teachers came out the Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Yurchenko V.O. and Chairman of the Federation of Dnipropetrovsk region Employers' Organizations Sergeev V.V.. They noted that in order to reduce the level of social tension in today's environment such programs should be more widely develop, particularly the Dnipropetrovsk region, which borders with the ATO.


The practical benefits of retraining courses were told by the graduates of previous years. For example, a graduate of 2011 Gulich Peter Ivanovich, who now works as deputy of HR department of "KB Yuzhnoye" named after. N.K. Yangelya told what a competitive advantages due to gained knowledge he had applying for a job.
